CDAF Financial and Executive Management Club
The CDAF is an independent, private, apolitical, and non-profit association. It was set up in 1980 with the aim of creating a meeting point and gathering place for those who occupy positions of responsibility in management departments and as a cultural reference for companies operating in industry, commerce, and the service sectors, as well as banks, associations, and private and public entities.
The club is open to professionals, UNIVERSITY TEACHING STAFF WHO SPECIALISE IN FINANCIAL/EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT AND RECENT GRADUATES WITH COURSES OF STUDY CONCENTRATED IN THIS FIELD.
The main aims of the CDAF can be summed up as follows: to promote culture, knowledge, in-depth understanding and an up-to-date awareness of the techniques of administration, finance, planning, control, internal auditing, and risk management, to develop a better interpretation of these areas in the field of business management.
Contributing to the professional growth of members in various ways, including:
a) involvement in informational and training processes concerning the latest techniques and knowledge;
b) organisation of events, meetings, and professional contributions;
c) maintaining relations with institutions and organisations in the financial system and the academic world, both nationally and internationally;
d) promoting cooperation between members and sharing knowledge and experience through social and cultural actions providing them with opportunities to meet up and enhance interpersonal relationships;
e) acting as an information and orientation centre for members, with reference to national and international experiences;
f) helping to solve specific work-related problems experienced by members;
g) developing promotion, cooperation and awareness-raising actions to increase members’ professionalism, together with the acquisition and dissemination of new knowledge;
h) working for the training of young people through initiatives aimed at improving knowledge of the practice of their profession and ethical business management.
